On October 25, 2024, the first ever Euro-Asian Forum for Education and Science between Bulgaria and China will take place in the Auditorium of SU “Kliment Ohridski”
It will present the programs of 9 higher education institutions based in Beijing. The purpose of the forum is to discuss and launch opportunities for bilateral exchange between Bulgarian and Chinese universities for students and teachers, both short-term and long-term, including master’s and doctoral programs, short-term internships of several months, opportunities for joint scientific projects between universities and the research centers of China and Bulgaria, for implementation of ideas, perspectives, innovations, investments, etc.
The Chinese delegation was led by Mr. Wang He and the Directors of the Municipal Education Commission and the Beijing International Educational Exchange Center.
Chinese higher education institutions are: Beijing University of International Business and Economics, Capital Medical University, Beijing University of Technology and Business, North China University of Technology, Beijing University of International Sciences, Beijing Polytechnic, etc., incl. 5 Beijing high schools and vocational middle and elementary schools.
Come on 25.10.2024 (Friday), from 09:00 to 14:00 in the Auditorium of SU “Kliment Ohridski” to hear the latest opportunities and perspectives for Bulgaria, as well as to have direct meetings.
Entry is free for the media, for Bulgarian teachers and research supervisors, as well as for students against a student card. On the Bulgarian side, representatives of all universities, colleges, NGOs and institutions in the field of education and science have been invited and will be present.

The Chinese delegation arrived in Sofia at the invitation of the UNSS, the National Sports Academy and a Consortium of 2 national NGOs (the National Chamber of Fashion of Bulgaria and the Association for Shared Organic Agriculture), the European Fashion Council and 2 Foundations (the Valyo Nachev Music Foundation and the Foundation for greetings “Dr. Vasil Stoilov”) and will also hold an identical education and science forum in Bucharest, Romania before flying back to Beijing.
